    Some of the data you are providing seems outdated like

    * As of 2006, Google had an 85-90% market share in Germany.
    * Google remains the dominant search engine worldwide as of 2007

    I'd like to see something that was more fresh, but if you're trying to establish a chain of events the older data is fine, maybe just reword things so readers understand what you're trying to explain.
