Cpalead Bans my Account with 9k balance and all i have is a movie site

Two days ago i got this email.

This email is being sent to you regarding ID: XXXXX for your CPAlead.com publisher account. It has come to our attention that you are infringing on various copyrighted materials. As a result, this has caused significant damage to CPAlead, and CPAlead's relationship with its advertisers.
Due to these activities discovered in this investigation, we are, effective immediately, terminating all of your CPAlead accounts and revoking all unpaid earnings. The amount recovered from your CPAlead accounts will not fully compensate us for the damages incurred and we reserve the right to pursue any and all further action. In addition we reserve the right to notify your local law enforcement agency of any possible cyber crime violations. If you choose to pursue this matter further or refuse to comply with the confidentiality notice located at the bottom of this letter, we will immediately be forced to take the necessary actions to protect CPAlead.

My website is a movie website and is not different from any movie/t.v show site that most publishers use and are being sold everywhere on this forum. i get links from the movie links website and i believe if i should get banned for this so should 90% of all cpalead publishers since most of them have movie/t.v show sites and the worst thing out of this is that they owe me 9k and banned me a day before they were meant to pay me and i probably am the only one that has gotten banned and i had a chat one of their workers who was the one that invited me to the network a month ago when i left them for adscend media that they would push me to weekly payments and add 7% on my earnings and he had the worst attitude in the world and told me cpalead had the right to ban any publishers for any reason or no reason that it was in the terms and conditions when i signed up.

Did anyone else get banned from them with this bs and anyone with movie/tv show sites that is doing good with them i would suggest you stop your traffic immediately and wait to get paid..i am 9k down now and pissed!

uh? when I first apply at cpalead, I used my movie site to register on cpalead... So why do they accept my application together with my website if it is not allowed?

I think you should directly email their manager or something. Even when creating video widgets, in the suggested ways to monetize on section on cpalead, tv show and movie sites are mentioned. Plus, they even let people sell guides relating to starting these sites in the marketplace. So I see no reason why they have banned you..

well if you hosted movies and hided the links with cpalead gateway, probably the copyright holder would have infringed them. There is that chance. unless i dont think, cpalead wil do any wrong.

You'll get a lifetime ban if Adsense finds you running it on a movie or tv site unless you have express permission to use them - it's copyright infringement and against the TOS.

Do you have permission to display the content? Did you read their TOS?

1.1.1. Pre-Condition. As a condition to your membership, you represent and warrant, and covenant on an ongoing basis, that your web site: (i) does not violate any law or regulation governing (A) false or deceptive advertising, (B) sweepstakes or (C) gambling; (ii) does not contain any comparative advertising, trade disparagement or libelous, defamatory or infringing content; and (iii) does not contain any machine-readable code that could be unintentionally downloaded onto a recipient's computer (such as a worm, virus, Trojan Horse or other self-executing computer program).

Movie sites regularly get banned by CPA sites bc they think of either copyright/adult etc...

Just because people tell you something - doesn't mean you do it, right? If I told you jump off of the 9th floor, I'm assuming you wouldn't go and jump.

Well some of the people saying it was okay to link to movie/tv shows were CPAlead themselves.

I am sure you can find many posts in this forum of CPAlead saying it is okay to this. I contacted CPAlead through email and they told me it was okay.

There is nothing in their TOS about showing it on sites that display movies or tv - so if you have permission to display the movies or tv shows, you're fine. What the TOS says is that you can't use it if your site is infringing. In all likelihood, they probably don't get into who has permission and who doesn't unless they receive a complaint by a copyright holder - then they can terminate you and not pay you for infringing upon the intellectual property of others. They are just looking the other way until your site gets turned in, then to protect themselves, they terminate the account.
