There are many solid PR4 internal pages on high stuff, e.g. www.HighStuff.com/business.htm , www.HighStuff.com/games.htm , Forums, Travel and so on. There are lot of new categories were created those might have lower PRs.

Nice directory list, is there any free directory list with some PR to get started?

Quick question on pagerank: if an (internal) page P on site S links to me, should I be concerned about the pagerank of P, the pagerank of S, or both? Do internal pages have rank that is basically independent of the main site?

Well there are perhaps a few too many duplicate "list your directory" threads, ut I don't remember one that categorises them by internal PR. That's a more useful way to measure the effectiveness of a listing than by homepage PR, because it gives more of an indication of the effectiveness of the kinds of listings most sites can reasonably expect.

Pagerank is calculated by page, not by site. So you should be concerned with the PR of the individual page that is linking to you.

People usually talk about the pagerank of a site, meaning the homepage PR, simply as a convenient shorthand. It's an easy way to compare the PR from one site to another, but of course it's not the whole story by any means.

"Its a stupid idea lol there are many similar threads" People just don’t get it :p.

If you found this thread useful please green me, so I fell good with myself. :)

Thanks, I just think it makes more sense to list directories like this, what is the point of having pr8 home when your link is at a Pr0 page. I never seen a list like this published.

Perhaps casual visitors just thought that this thread is yet another posting
of top-directories ranked by homepage PR?
