I, and probably everyone else on the planet, get really fed up with the crap that comes into my inbox from people selling nothing but horse shmuck. This, in turn, puts me off sending emails to people. To date I have a few hundred email subscribers (and a few hundred thousand 'bought' leads) but I am stopped emailing them because I don't know what to put in an email that doesn't sound like a blatant lie, sales pitch, or other 'guru' style crap. (No offence to any self-expressed guru's) I'd love some tips please. Happy G (I would add a signature but there seems to be 'rule' that says I must do another 10 of these things before I can do so) This is number 12.
well I would suggest no lies or sales pitch stuff. Just write like you are writing a single email to a friend. Sure you have to do some promotional stuff but as long as you avoid the main "bad" words, things should get better.
Send a quarterly update to the subscribers. List your new products, goals for the year, potential new products, offer a short article on your niche. You do not need to ever sell anything, just keep in touch with your followers and make sure you know you are still around.
Hi, Thanks guys... I give myself a 'pat on the back' when it comes to mastering procrastination, but maybe that's what it is in disguise. Or maybe it's a fear of not getting any responses. Think I will just load all subscribers into aWeber and blast out a broadcast every week with a new email address to monitor progress. Thanks again... (More responses welcome) Happy G (I would add a signature but there seems to be 'rule' that says I must do another 10 of these things before I can do so) This is number 12. Oh... another 'rule' I missed, Have to be here more than 7 days too. If there's any more 'Rules' would someone please make a list of them. I didn't get dressed to write this in case I had the wrong shorts on.
