    I have my blog site but there is no PR of that blog. How can I optimize it, so that everyone can know about my blog. I want to promote my website through this blog also.

    Well i thing you should read few theads then post your qustion here.. here are lotssssssssss of post where we all are discuss same thing.. first promote your blog and then try to exchange 3 way link for your website....

    Before anyone know about your blog, Search engine need to know first about your blog.
    ping your blog and every post.. there are many such website ( search "ping feed" in google_)
    Submit your blog to many search engine ( you can use submitexpress.com and other like website)
    Digg you stories
    share on stumble upon and delicious
    comment on other blog.

    I have noticed that Google and yahoo index bing.com webmaster forum very fast.. create an acount there and put a link in your signature there, it will be indexed within hour.. I have real experience of it.

    there are many other tips.

    Page Rank = Building solid dofollow links from other pages that have a high page rank.

    Try not to get linked by pages with no page rank!

    So get some GOOD, DOFOLLOW links, from other solid blogs. They are there if you know where to look. Google "Dofollow blogs" and check the page rank with the google tool.

    Do frequent updation in your blog. There are lot free blog submission sites available in search engine. Go and find it and submit your blog. Do blog commenting. I hope it may be useful
