    Same thing happened to me recently, didn't seem to have any effects on the SERPs on both Yahoo! & Google though. Shouldn't have to worry too much I guess.

    Y! Link count periodically ( so far noticed it happen twice per 24hr )drops, then reindexes back to normal within an hour or so. Bing is the reason :) 'nuff said.

    Yes I think its the blog commenting this, because I have had over 500 links disapear all of a sudden and the only thing I can think of is that some of the websites have top commenters and I have dropped out of those. Keep building links, as long as your main keywords are safe in the serps, I dont think you have anything to worry about. I am not worrying yet anyway.

    No, it`s an error from yahoo. Sometimes my backlinks are 10k sometimes 600...lol
