Why my sitemap index only 1 url?

My blog is: http://www.hotfordown.com/ . I had submitted sitemap over 2 weeks. But, until now, only 1 url was indexed, others no indexed.

Will you tell me by which tool or method you are finding out indexing for your website. If you want to check indexed pages by Google then open Google type site:your website with www. then you get the number of pages which indexed by Google.

 

Thanks kurtzmetals very much. I had done and I see 49 result. But in Google webmaster tool, it show only 1 url indexed. I don't know whether what I wrong?

Probably nothing is wrong. Google indexes your main page first, and then indexes some of the rest. But it takes time. If I remember well for my site it took more than 2 weeks to have some more pages indexed and more than a month for bing.

 

you can see the changes after 3 days-1 week later at Google webmaster tools

 

google takes time to do everything.wait with patience

 

I was having the same problem it has been 2 1/2 weeks and google webmaster is still showing 1 indexed url

 

I also like your problem, I have repaired but a month but still not optimistic...

 

I have not found sitemap.xml on your site. which file format you have submitted? Try to submit always .xml format sitemap

But I found only 1st 2 pages are from your site, others are backlinks. Also have not found any sitemap.xml or sitemap.html or sitemap.txt at your site. Thanks

 

I did not understand, why in google webmaster show

but in google search out of 100 results

 

check if you have duplicate content
or nofollow tags

or copyright infringements?

 

I have checked your site indexed pages through the site command. it is showing around 100 results. Have you submitted your sitemap.xml to the GWT. you have to wait. you can see more indexed urls in some days.
