Is there is any method to detect fake Google page rank of any website... if please tell...?

 

You can easy search on google something like: fake pagerank detector

You will find lots of online services that will tell you if a website has a fake pagerank or is valid.

 

I think google toolbar will give you exact page rank of a website.. have you tried it.

 

Yes, there are many tool which can detect fake page rank even if you usig firefox and install Google Tool bar it will show you original page rank some time IE show wrong PR so use Firefox

 

you'll kind of get used to it - pull the backlinks for the site and look at the page rank - you can get a strong or a weak page rank... so it can show as TBPR 5 and be pulling its page rank from one pr7 or something... if its redirect pr then itll have sod all backlinks...

if its got loads of directoy links - tha'll poss be where its pulling pr...

you sort of get used to it - if the site looks shit and you think it couldnt be pr x then it prob isnt..

i dont know a tool other than you eyes and ears and common sense.

 

just try to search for the sites backlinks through backlink tools then you will know if the page rank is valid or not.

I never ever heard it?
To check a sites PR we simply use Google tool bar or SEO quirk to find out out original Pr.
google toolbar could be the bset option of all!!

 

@kuldep - its when you fake the tbpr of a website - its for idiots who build links based on TBPR score.

 

If you are trying to find out page rank for a particular website then download Google tool bar & set option unable page rank, you will get page rank for particular website easily at the top of page in Google toolbar.

Fake Google Page Rank ? What does it mean...I have never heard about this new term. I think your posting is wrong. Why Google will show two types of Page Rank one right and one fake.

I saw this term recently using a domain purchasing software - it would show PR for an aged domain and then whether it was faked or not. I guess theres some plonkers out there that inflate or fake the PR and then get to sell the domain for more. Sort of like winding the clocks back on a car to make it more valuable? Thats what it meant to me at the time.

Google toolbar is very good and everyone should use it.

 

Faking google page rank has been around for 5+ years. It doesn't matter which method you are using to read page rank, even google toolbar can show a fake PR. A fake PR is basically achieved by 301 redirecting the google spiders/bots to a site with the PR you want to show, whilst having no redirection in place for human visitors. This is essentially site owners trying to rip off people buying links. Don't fear though, if you didn't know about it it's highly unlikely you've been caught out.

I've never seen a site with a fake PR, even whilst actively looking for them. Try it yourself, search google for sites with fake PR 10. They'll all be PR n/a now. Google is clearly now adept at penalising sites which do this. The people above saying you can tell a fake PR by looking at the number of backlinks are talking rubbish. It's quite possible to get an authentic high PR on a site without thousands of backlinks, there are too many other factors to take into account. I've seen many apparently crap sites with high PR, but it doesn't mean it's fake.

 

Unfortunately as long as TBPR exists it will always be a factor. If you have a personal site then fair enough, but try explaining to a client why you've spent £££££ on a page with no PR. It's all they care about, and you could waste hours of your time trying to explain... its not worth it.
