drop in my google adsense revenue

I used to get 1 USD per day from my photo hosting website. But these days it has been dropped to 0.10 - 0.20 cents. What might be the reason ?

 

It may occur for many reasons. Such as, your visitor may decreased, so "low visitor=low earning", visitors may be aware about adsense, you may have changed ads placement and so on.

 

May be coz.. The visitors are now viewing some low paying niche related pictures..

or the No. Clicks may be reduced.

Get ads placed Properly again.. and it may rise up again

 

First, is there a drop in any particular source of traffic? Take a look at your web analytics.

 

It can also be that advertisiers have seen that the traffic from your website is not good, so they either ask AdWords to not show their ads on your site, thus making competition less fierce and thus you see a decline in earning with fewer advertisers who don't have to bid very high to still win the spot.

Do you still have about the same traffic and do you still produce the same amount of clicks per day?

There are a lot of reasons behind the drop. I would recommend checking out these

1. Where is your traffics originated? Is it from seo or direct traffics or others?
- If they comes from organic search results, is your site still be there?
- If they comes from direct traffics, what is happening to the sources? Is the thread or reference had been removed?
- If they comes from specific method, trace back and find out what is happening

2. Do you have dropped in CTR ratio?
- Have you do any change to website layout recently? If so, what did you do?
- Have you just move ads position? or change ads size / color recently?

3. If you have similar traffics and same CTR, you may check out ads displaying on your website.
- Is there any possible for low quality advertisers? You may check by enter their URL manually and see what is the destination page looked like. If they are look like a MFA with content scraper, they are likely to be filtered out first.

I have not made any change to my site in terms of the content. The traffic to my site has not dropped, but Even I see a drastic reduction of adsense revenue in my site. This is the same case with a friend of mine. This drastic reduction took place since May'2010. Does any one face the same issue??

 

It can be due to your targeted traffic drop, CTR drop or your CPC drop

 

I have not experienced the same issue yet. If your traffics are the same I would recommend you checking out current advertisers displaying on your website. Do inspect one by one to see if they are low quality ones and filter them out first.

 

In March my earnings were ok.. But From April my earnings of few sites are too down... No Drop in traffic in April. CTR, ecpm dropped a lot.

 

May be your sites traffic has dropped or your site is getting junk traffic now.

This is the latest report for past 7 days. There were 22,435 impressions but only 25 clicks. I could have made some nice money if at least some 200 clicks. That is really disappointing

Google re-indexing the whole web, Every one will see unstable traffic nor revenues nowdays.
