    Everything is important in seo , PR is also important factor in SEO , and when we exchange link then we want to exchange from quality of link then our partner always ask about PR and when we have good PR then we can exchange link then we can get good SERP result .

    There is 200 Facts for promoting an website........still yes u can outrank of site which have hight pr. but you have to do some advantage.

    rimple, but in such way we can say that SERP depends on our negotiations skill -> if we are good in it -> we could have a lot backlinks for free -> we have good SERP results.

    In such way we can say SERP results depends on our mood or even on the material our house is made of.

    That you described is indirect influence.

    the question is:
    if two site will have the similar quantity of backlinks with similar anchors, if all conditions are quite equal, excep PR - will it be the important factor in such case?
