How many of these "Make Money Marketing Online!" schemes do you think are legit?

I'm curious to know... a lot of them seem like SPAM written in poor English by outsourced article writers

What percentage of people on here who say they are making "thousands" a month are actually having success, and what percentage are just saying that in order to lure suckers to their site?

A lot of my recent Google searches on some of these topics have been underwhelming to say the least

Generally speaking no one is going to tell you what they are making and how they are doing it precisely. Some of the money making schemes are optimistic at best. I am always of the view of why are they selling the secret if it works so well? If you had a secret to make thousands of dollars a mouth would you keep it and make those thousands or would you sell the secret for a few bucks?

Agree totally. You'd think with the amount of so-called "Internet millionaires" around the market would be so flooded that no one else would be able to make a profit

I typically stick with the old adage "if it seems too good to be true it probably is". Especially the ones that say you don't have to do any work, just put your program on autopilot and collect gobs of cash. Even with affiliate marketing, there's a lot of work involved in order to be successful.

Research is the most important thing, poor research will result in failure soon.

Well, as an Affiliate Manager that worked on several industries for quite a long time, I can tell you that some people get really good money... but the truth is... you are not going to get rich overnight or without effort.

True say... among the solid ones.

If you get an email that looks too good to be true, then probably it is.

Do research, google, forums, look not only for high commissions but also low payout minimum, professional affiliate assistance, converting sites, etc.

    Hope the info is helpful.

Some are probably legit but the question is how much can you make from them?
I've seen many places that promise you $xxx per day but you'd be lucky to make even $20 a day.

I think they sell old, saturated methods most of the time.
They might have already used and juiced most of the money out of.

Well... this of course depend on the niche that you are in, of course that the methods are the same... nobody is discovering anything here ;) we are trying to make the same but in a more profitable :D

If I was making $1,000 a week and I could sell 1000 manuals at $100 showing people how to do the same that would mean $100,000 or 1000 weeks income.
    Wouldn't you do that?
You could still keep on making your $1000 a week too.

Ahh, but if I could sell a guide on the premise of making money online for $89, then I wouldn't need to be making money online legitimately because I've got this stupid ebook that is working for me.

Pretty much all money making sites/courses/ebooks are crap.

I find it even more funny when a new make money product appears on the market and you can trace it back to some newbie DP member who spammed the forum for ideas on how to make money online a few weeks prior to launching their book.

The only one I've found to be actually useful is SEOBook by Aaron Wall, and that doesn't make any stupid sales pitches like "Make $10,000 every day!". It does what it says it does - teaches you the proper way to do white hat SEO, it doesn't oversell itself with some lame squeeze page.

    Exactly.

Everyone goes around saying "WRITE AN EBOOK! IT'LL GIVE YOU A HOOK TO BRING TONS OF TRAFFIC TO YOUR PAGE!!!" when in fact the large majority of them are either incoherent, useless, or a compilation of stuff pulled off random websites mashed into a PDF format in a half-assed attempt to look legitimate.

I agree that there is a lot of junk out there.

That said, I avoid the majority of it by only buying from people who I know, or from people who are highly recommended by those that I know.

And if I do see something of interest by someone I don't know, I will Google for reviews and complaints related to it. I've dodged a bullet, so to speak, a few times by doing this. lol
