I like 3.8 since everything works
4.x is up to 4.0.2 and still tons of bugs and some parts that work in 3.8, are broken in 4.x :D

I suggest you go with 3.8.x until the 4X series gets the bugs worked out. I run 3 vbulletin forums, none of them are getting 4X installed on them for another 3 or 4 months - or until a lot of the major problems are fixed.

The new 4.x looks pretty good, but the bugs are a pain ... I'd stick with 3.8.x for now

I heard that the vbulletin 4.x is very very buggy, so i guess alot of people will be using the 3.8 until they sort the 4.x out.

I prefer vBulletin 3.8.x as I am used to the style and vB still has loopholes.

I am still awaiting stable VB 4 and advanced VBCMS compatibilty here - nice look in VB 4 admin though S :) (PB) the new advertising feature was the only major change I noticed thus far!

I am assuming that is not the full publisher suite admin though - am I correct?

I'm with version 3.8 on my Health Forums as I believe it's more stable than the new vBulletin 4.0.

I love 3.8 and i don't want to chance upgrading. the problem is once you upgrade, you cannot downgrade.

If its a new forum then your better off going with 4.0 series. I myself am sticking with 3.8 since I know for sure it works great.

I regret upgrading to vB4 at the moment because there are endless bugs and missing features. I'd suggest that you wait till at least 4.1 before upgrading over to 4x.

vB4, at least that you are a Coder and knows how vB Works :D

If not vB3 will be the best choice.

4.0 is junk, I don't like what IB has done with it. Stick with 3.8 for as long as its supported.
