In my own experiences, submitting to Google would not help in prompt indexing purpose but sometimes on the contrary. Trying to put your homepage links in your tweets and post your links in high PR (above 6) sources would be really helpful for prompt indexing purpose. :)

    Have a nice day,

In addition to what the others say, you can try to use some whois or website value sites, like who.is or websitevaluecalculator.com. 10-12 will be enough, and Google might finally crawl your site. You can also try verifiedfile.com/seo, it makes the process automatic. (Just do not use more than 50 urls a day!)

Sometimes it can take a time. Try using pingoat and that is enough to let the search engines known that you exist.

Agg! Same problem here mate! The only thing you can really do is try to give it some more links. Give it time though. My site took a while to get indexed, and when it did it still does not show up in the search results. I don't get it, when I figure it out i'll post here and tell you

little known tip: go to indenti.ca. its a pr7 that is constantly crawled by google. create an account and then use your main url on the account. google will have it indexed in less than 2 hours.
