Guys i am planning to create a site just to earn from traffic on the site. So can any1 suggest me which cms can be better optimized for search engines. Does seo depends on the cms used?
For on page SEO, yes it does matter. I would use Wordpress due to the fact it is more stable and mature.
WordPress is a better choice for me because it has been mature with recent years' development. For me, WordPress is more simple and easily to use.
I think Wordpress is better. Although Joomla has a lot of potential, it's not quite at the same standard yet.
This is a purely personal choice and how much comfortable one is with the nuances of the CMS that you are choosing, personally Wordpress takes the winning position without much ado as it is much easier for anyone to learn and customise, you dont need a professional help as such, but Joomla sometimes can kick your nerves if you dont have the habit of reading through the starter manuals/guides.
Assuming both site contains exactly the same information, I would suggest Wordpress. It loads faster as well =)
Most of the clients are asking to develope thier website in wordpress, even Joomla and drupple are also great pateform but wordpress is still srtong
Wordpress all the way, although you will need to download a few plugins to optimize your SEO. I would recommend All In One SEO and the Google Sitemap plugins. Good Luck!
I have 70 domains/sites and I run all mine on Wordpress. It's soo easy to use and the maturity of the site makes it the best choice.
I use Joomla exclusively and it has taken a significant amount of tweaking/trial and error to get it SEF. Its my understanding that wordpress is much better in this regard right out of the box.
