    Hi,
I have installed phpMyAdmin 2.9.0 in my server and it seemed easy to do it, but when I try to login gave me this message -
I basically upload the files to the server and I set the configure.php file with the localhost, user and pass, but nothing.
Will someone give a hand here please...

    Thanks...

Did you get the path to the server right? Are you sure the password and username are correct?

It seem you have to configure your mysql database to accept that password.

I think the path is right or it would have told me otherwise. The only thing I did not do was an install from the browser, I just upload the files and set the configure file. If I leave the user and pass blank, it would do the same. Am I missing a setp in the installation?...

php my admin don't need installation, probably the informations you entered are not correct, check again your database settings, username, pass, dbname, and then check if you completed all fields in configuration file.
