Does google algorithm has any prefernce for the age of the site????????

i own a website www.usedcarsinkerala.com.. its almost 3 months old.. i have about 1000 back links from different websites.. i got pagerank 3 for the last update from google

i use to do seo for ma wesite wen ever im free enuf.. also its a gud idea to update ma knowledge about automobiles.. my website has good rankings in google with these keywords

for the first keyword.. USED CARS IN KERALA it has the 2nd ranking for my website. above me there is a website called www.keralausedcars.com. This site has very less back links than me.. also page rank 1.. im trying level best to make it first.. I want your help here.. HOW COME I CAN OVER COME THIS WEBSITE...?????

Buy Relevant Paid links..And some quality Content on your site.

 

Check their keywords and onpage seo. They also have a keyword rich domain. Check to see if www.usedcarsinkerala.com is available, that would be the easiest way to beat them.

 

are you sure bro.. coz i heard google is giving no value for paid links to downgrade such type of sites

 

@sunny.. actually the one who ownes (keralausedcars.com) doesnt know about seo.. he is my distant friend.. he donoo even the meaning of seo.. he has bout 12 back links.. that too came smehow unknown..

 

Just study and analyze the backinks of your competitor site that you have mentioned. may be he is having more powerful and relevant links than yours. try to build backlinks from those sources as well.

 

@jason.. he only have 25 back links as seen in backlinkwatch.com.. that too not anchored.. i have 1000 somethinh backlinks anchored with above mentioned keywords..

 

You have to write new & unique Content for your website.....

 

add a blog & get content on it. Also use social media & get huge viral traffic & domain value goes high & fast

YES! Age is probably the single most important factor in ranking. Not just domain age, but the site on the domain. The domain having dropped is a huge huge hit to this also.

 

Number of backlinks is meanlingless when comparing to age. I have an 11 year old site with about 500 backlinks. I outrank 5 year old sites that have 20,000+ backlinks and their sites are actually higher quality than mine. If I was searching for a site I would think theirs should rank higher and I am talking about 15 different sites that are all higher quality and have more links than mine. My only advantage is age.

 

Domain age definitely has a lot to do with the current algorithm. Many times, Google looks at these older sites as authority sites in their niche which is extremely helpful.

Site size also makes a big difference, bigger is definitely better and many people seemingly forget that content and backlinks should go hand in hand.

@snappy and markase so u all say like we cant do anything for the age preference..? its a 3 year old website and mine s 3 months.. lol.. any idea for going up..? just look for that site keralausedcars.com and it looks so messy.. coz it takes an hour to load the homepage. Whole pictures he displayed on the homepage itself..

 

plenty reason :
1. On page SEO ? he use better script then you ?
2. His meta and keyword tag ?
3. Hosting location ?
and plenty more ....

 

The age of the Site does matter because Google will assume it has more authority because it has been around longer and stood the test of time but I'm assuming its not just one factor that makes it outrank you. Just keep working hard you will be The first on the list soon.

 

@skabt he has no seo.. 25 back links with no anchored links.. i hosted in bluehost and he too not in our place.. he has done only the offline seo..

@ afridz No problem, SEO can take a lot of time if you just take it easy and set goals you will be fine

 

3 months is not very long to rank well - quite possibly as time goes by you could well rank better.
