Has any webmaster here managed to make money using affiliate programs targetted to Indian audience? I personally feel its a very bad idea to target Indians to buy stuff online and would like to know if anyone is doing it successfully.
It may not work, except in few areas. You may tryout shaadi.com and others if your visitors are from that age group.
Do you mean with your experience matrimonial affiliate programs are the only ones that work for Indians?
i agree with alemcherry, have been with Shaadi Affiliate Program for quite some time now. Plus, it has now got graduated from revenue share to a per lead basis. Trackings & tools fine 0nly issue you need to send them an invoice every mnth. Last heard on the same they are gettig an automated invoice system n board do nt know when that occurrs thgh.....
I read in an article at business 2.0 that in India there is a great penetration of cell phones but that the amount of computers is not great yet. Maybe you could try making a website with some kind of product and accept payments through sms. Just an idea.
