Hi there, I recently joined adwords. I created a campaign for me site where I'm offering something free. The ad looks like this. Get FREE XXX get your free xxxx Xxx for free. xxxxxx.org This is how my ad looks like. It got disapproved. Then I created another ad which looks like this. Get XXXX Get XXX here Xxx xxx xxxxxx.org My site is about a code generator and the landing page is very simple and clean with no ads on it. Only Basic HTML. Will it get approve? What else can I do with the ad?
First, read the Adwords guidelines and policies or you're just going to run against ads being disapproved very often. If you capitalize FREE and other words like that, you will get disapproved. In fact, it should tell you it was for excessive capitalization. Then, learn how to create attractive ads. Click rate is two thirds of PPC. In Adwords, that's what the quality score is. Poor CTR means poor QS which just increases your costs. I doubt you'll get very far with the type of ads you wrote.
Additionally, Google is very strict in providing relevant and keyword targeted ads around search and content networks that's why they wouldn't be approving those advertisements who "obviously" sells, just like what you've stated. You should make it informative like supplying the products benefits and features along the second and third lines while your title should also be enticing yet useful enough. It should go something like: Tired of having empty pockets? I was talking of course about all letters in a word being capitalized. Capitalizing the first letter of each word in a title is a good idea. Doing so for each word in the description lines, not so much. My data shows it actually reduces click rate.
