Forum Dying Fast, Needs SEO Faster

I already asked on google last week about doing a 301 and was told they can't do one. I hadn't planned on the old site being deleted. We're stranded now and I opened a referral programme, it's brought a few people in but nothing like what we had. But it has done more alone than anything else, so I will probably keep the programme open indefinitely...for as long as this place lasts. Thing is that this is primarily a hobby site. I earn a tiny bit of revenue from Adsense, or did, but it's only to help cover overhead.

I haven't done an XML sitemap, but I don't know quite how. But thanks for the suggestions. If there's anything I could do now that I haven't done yet that would help, I'll do it. I feel worst about possibly letting these kids down.

yeah, you can't do 301 redirects if you do not have control of the hosting space of the old domain.
so, it's pretty much like starting over, unfortunately

 

this damn thing isn't starting over...it's ending. the site i devoted my life to over the past few years is dying, it's my fault and I'm going to have to bury it.

I already post on several other forums to promote it, I belong to 6 different web promoting forums, and affiliate with over 50 other forums.

Harder I work the faster I fail.

 

You need to do forums posting, blogs comments and quality back links.

 

best to go back to basics and start creating backlinks and generating traffic then getting member sign ups agen. will be little timely but hopefully be back on track
