Alexa is not very accurate, not very important but it is alwaysgood to see a good number, congratulations. ^^

 

Alexa Changes all the time because of the rapid growth of the internet.

It's like 5 years ago you may only needed 5,000 UV's a day to get to 40,000 Alexa now you probs need 4X that amount like 20,000 UV's and it changes everyday like you could still have the exact same amount of traffic ans still move down in Alexa.

That's the theory I built up of it anyway.

Well the only link building strategy that was mainly used was Blog commenting. On the niche related blogs only

Oh, yeah, you should. The number of your advertising enquiries (and the actual money you can squeeze outa your advertisers) will magically increase after you've hit the 100K mark. So, definitely, Alexa IS a factor!
