lol I just checked out your logo portfolio, some good stuff in there. I just found it ironic that your logo portfolio doesn't have a logo for ColaDesigns at the top.

 

I dont see the link either. You might have to reload that picture again. Now im all curious!

 

ya my portfolio is just for those interested in looking at my work and making the occasional sale; its not my main source of income by far and i have no interest in making it a full-tim/professional thing

Is the bomb supposed to relate with the 'Best' in any way?

 

Font is weak. Nice bomb though.

 

You need to fill up the space more. And the bomb looks flat and boring... it needs some work.

 

yeah, you´re right. Thanks for the input. BYTW, the bomb is there because the web site´s moto goes like this " Blast your web presence with the Best Web Content" or something like that....

Alright, if the site name is Best Web Content, you really shouldn't just make one letter white, as it contrasts with the rest of the text too much, maybe make the whole word "Best" in white. Also, on that same note, you shouldn't reflect just "Web Content", and I don't think it is appealing to give the reflection effect at all.

 

that font just doesn't go well in there. you need something strong, solid, but not too fancy. you need a bold professional font, but not too futuristic or tacky. As I can see, the bomb also has some sort of pixelation (then smudged or blurred) so the whole image doesn't look really well.

Try making a more sharp line with the bomb and the font, the bomb doesn't have to be in full-color, it can be in 3-4 colors (better said, shades) or something, and it should still look cool, while preserving professionality. And can you tell us what your company is about, or for what company is that logo?

My thoughts are that you have to practising more in doing logos, although its a nice attempt.

hmm just a suggestion.. how about having it in this format:

B E S T
Web Content

Ignore the spaces on BEST, just make the font bigger and go all the way across the last letter "t" on "Content"...

and then change the letter "E" on BEST to somewhat like the Internet Explorer logo (but don't copy it)... in this case, make it shaped like a bomb (like you currently have on your logo)...

and also, you may need to choose a different font.

Just a thought .. i hope i made sense....
