Free SEO Friendly Wordpress Theme.

Hi Guys,

So I thought I'd start releasing Wordpress themes as all the cool kids are doing it! This is my first attempt at one, but I think it went ok. It's still fairly simple, but is very SEO friendly. It's obviously a work in progress, but everything seems to work fine out of the box (except the breadcrumb code up the top seems flakey, so I'll try to sort that out soon).

How is it SEO friendly? In quite a number of ways. I've set it out the way I would normally set up a site. H1 and H2 tags come up first. Second is the content. Side Bars are displayed third. Navigation, Form Elements, Breadcrumbs, footer all come in last. H2 tag changes to whatever the page name is.

It's Adsense ready, so just remove the 2 comment lines in the sidebar.php to enable adsense. Also make sure you add your google client number!

There's a link in the footer to one of my sites. If you do decide to use it, remove it or keep it there. People will do that sort of thing anyway, but just to let you know, I don't really mind either way

It's also validates XHTML1.0 Strict if you care about that sort of thing.

I figured I'd see what people thought of it before I put it on any Wordpress Theme type sites, iron out any bugs or add any suggestions I might get.

I like it, maybe you can make the body more wide and make the 2 side columns less wide


also, you can make more of this theme using more colors

one red and one blue etc ....

Yeah I'll probably release a bunch of different themes based off of it (different colours, background image, header, etc) once I get the one right. Easier to fix one template rather than a whole bunch of them.

I'll give the larger body area a go.

Nice theme Grant. I like what you have done with the left side bar and something tells me this theme could really help with Adsense.

good theme but it is better for you to create more column in the right sidebar

 

May be you can improve on the header...the footer is nice.

 

Nice colors but you should have add sidebars to it. This will make your theme more pretty.

 

Honestly, I don't like this design. The background color makes the text hard to read. It causes also bad contrast of website. And the layout of this is too simple and looks like old-fashion type. I really want to see a clean interface with usability WP theme.
