Any recommendations guys

Ok, quickly, i have a money site that I'm finding hard to rank for some competitive keywords. However there are some sweet keyword rich domains available thing redwidgets.net, bluewidgets.net etc that i can buy. Would you
a. do a 301 redirect to the main money page
b. put up a small Wordpress site that directs to the money page with some links (i have multiple C-class IPs to do this)
c. put up an animated flash holding page with a click here to continue kind of deal.

any +'s or -'s with regard to SEO. I'm leaning towards option a but wonder if the other 2 give me more presell opportunities without hindering my SEO. I also want to build lots of Backlinks to the new domains, and worry that this will not work so well with a redirect - thanks in advance gurus

 

Neither of those ideas are going to help your SEO.

Well For me i think plan C. is good.. I just feel that if i were the customer, it would make me continue to your site..

@IM42 - its a fact that one of the ways to get a good rank fairly quickly is to have a keyword rich domain name - believe me I've done it many times. It will rank but its a case of how to make the customer click through , and whats the best way to get extra 'oomph' from the domains I would be investing in.

 

Oh I gotcha. Yes keyword in the domain works very well. Why don't you make a squeeze page style setup and bait them to click through or better yet give something away for free and collect optins then redirect them to the site.

 

yeah that kinda what I was thinking - an extra bite of the cherry as it were. Anyone care to disagree?
