I have a list of nearly 1,000,000 active email addresses, How can I earn from them

If these are accounts that have marketed to you / spammed you previously...

then prob most of the emails are of no value..

 

I have never used any of these emails.. So no chance of getting marked as spam

 

If you never used them then i guess one email will never hurt you. Perhaps you can make a nice profit off a one time email and then ask them to opt-in to your up and coming newsletter. Just a idea.

 

Are those emails of targeted people or just some random emails found on the Web? If they're not targeted, you're wasting your time. If they're targeted, send them once and allow the person to unsubscribe so that you do not keep sending your emails to people that do not want to receive them anymore. If McDonald's, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Domino's Pizza and all those insurance companies can keep sending us their junk in our physical mailboxes without asking us to opt in, then you can also send an email to a person and allow them unsubscribe. Aweber will cost you a fortune, especially for that many emails to send. Pretty soon, they will say you have to pay $100 for 100 emails to send. What a joke.

 

I completely agree with Alexa. Unless you can authenticate your list, you're heading for trouble.

It doesn't matter if you haven't reported them as spam, it would only take a few to report you and it causes you all sorts of problems.

One of the other posts suggests mailing them with the option to opt in to your offer. This is the only way to build a truly authenticated list from these email addresses.

If you have never used this email list then it is difficult to see it being of any use to you at all not being targeted to you niche etc.

Maybe as someone else said you could send one email to the list with an opt in to your newsletter or something to try and generate a targeted list from there.

Worth a try.

 

i have a 1000 lists ..
the smallest have a 3 milions Emals ..
but its (illegal)
and b4 few week i wrote there is a guy get on the prison bc the (spam)
and there is a few host allowing the spam ..





and in here in arabian country ..
if i spammer i will get in prison around 2 yers ..
but there is a way to spam it for them

and download the Emal tabel ..
and you will find only one emal
your emal ..
add the ather emal for it and send it but you need to program small script
after that you will be able to spam any kind of emal list
and 100% leagel
just like that .. :d

 

Who do you report them too - it always seems like too much hard work...?

Ummmm, how many have double opti-in to your list?

I bet over 50% are fake email address's or perhaps more. This type of list i would never purchase but rather start my own from scratch. You want a list that'll buy from you and not report you for spamming.

 

If you've collected the list over a "long time" even if it was legitimately, they may not remember you and STILL accuse you of spamming.

As it is, I think you should start building a list from scratch -- the right way.

Come up with a compelling "opt-in bribe" and make sure you're building a relationship with your list. Provide real value and create a connection. That will bring you much more in benefits than a spammy list ever could.

In fact, article marketing, if done right, can be a great way to build a list because people have a way to get to know you before they even opt in.

It seems so easy to create a list of valid emails these days, they appear everywhere.

For example, you may go on the website Easyroommate.com. This is a website where you can search for an appartment or a roommate in a given city of a given country. When you subscribe with a paid account, you get access to the email address of EVERY members!! The subscribers cannot hide them, it's simply not possible.

So on such website, someone with the proper software could easily extract thousands of emails, all valid and working email addresses (these people want to be contacted! they are searching for an apartment or roommate!), and on top of that, they can control the geography associated with the emails (ex: search in the page for New York, you get all New York, search Philadelphia, same. Search Sydney Australia! same!)

All of this to say: it's such a shame that companies respect privacy so little these days. They should do something about this because people with bad intention could very well use this information that they put available for anyone to gather.

I think you need to learn a lot about internet business, anti-spam laws and general ethics.
