Women to blame for earthquakes, says Iran cleric

Hehe babak. Its Earthquake, not earth quack. Quack is the noise a duck makes. Earthquakes were a huge problem where I live until the building codes changed. Poor building codes + dense population = Haiti. Chile recently had a much more powerful earthquake than Haiti, with only a fraction of the deaths. I hate to make the case for government regulation, but seismic construction codes in California are the primary reason, in my opinion, we have such large earth quacks and so few deaths. We even went through and did seismic retrofits (remodeling) on old buildings, bridges, and freeways. In a city with many old buildings(Tehran?), it is a costly endeavor, but one that definitely saves lives. The horror of Haiti is unbelievable.

@babak44 - Yes there are many Quacks in Iran which could be the real reason why Earth Quakes happens a lot, that or the Continental plate is shifting.

Umm, on a serious note - a test had been conducted whether women are the real cause of Earth quakes that is happening and some women had conducted a rescent study on the finding by seeing if their bOObs were indeed a factor. Read the theory of the Boob Quake test.

I read this story earlier today. This is a perfect example of how incredibly ludicrous organized religions are.
