    Some extra feedback:

I like Nmbr38 (1st try) on that link because:

-it offers a fresh colorful 'appeal' which is corporate and not too intimidating
-it looks 'European', and is the type of logo that classic Spanish film companies normally use
-the 'Calloway' text is well aligned with the 'films' text - making it look solid and legible
-however the second try does not look as good since the color gradient on the film reel is gone, an element of which made the 1st try from EternalLight look awesome

In saying so, I'll wait on the entries to come along for Friday, and in terms of ideas; color gradients like green, blue, red, orange and yellow look great, especially on graphics and not text - so its something that the artists might want to experiment with.

A great use of very subtle gradients is on the 'Working Title' logo shown below:

That design definitely looks cool yet corporate - so much that I can envision a logo of that type on a corporate studio flag.

However, there are 3 points to consider:

    1. The graphic is disproportionate in size to the Calloway Films texts. An image re-size on the graphic would suit the design best.

    2. As an experiment, can the designer rotate the graphic 90degrees clockwise so that the bases of the film reels become parallel with the Calloway Films text? That way, the film-cells graphic would form an 'arc' shape aligned with 'Calloway Films' text being the base. Its an experiment - but I figure the 'arcs' would look like the letters 'c', 'l' and 'f' -- thus reppin' the brand.

    3. Another idea follows the steps in point2, but involves rotating the film cell graphic 90degrees anti-clockwise so it forms a 'u' shape ontop of the Calloway Films text. Its an odd experiment, but I figure it could make the logo look like an emblem, kinda like the Cadillac design. Also, I think a shape like that could represent every letter in 'Calloway Films' - jus' like the way the Cadillac one represents every letter in their company name.
