    It works well enough, but it'd probably be pretty hard to compete with like bitly and the more popular url shortening sites.

    It is not hard once you have ideas.
    For an example, build a image hosting site (for example: clafy.com) using free or paid script.
    Then code into your script using your short url service api so that every image uploaded will use your short url as an alternative.
    This really works if you have adult image hosting. :)

    It's already fixed in the script I downloaded and installed and it's the default. If I modify that, it will destroy everything. Soon I will implement API as well. I know it's hard to compete, but as long I stay positive it may happen to be successful.
