Does sales letter still work?

All these while we are using sales letter to sell our products, just wonder these year any new ways of doing it? Please share your comments. Thanks

 

yes, it can take some taffic, but not very effect

 

sales letter definitely work. it has responsible for millions of not billions of total online sales. In fact, sales letter is like our tireless salesman working non-stop 24/7. Look at any product or service at all (in CB, Paydotcom, CJ, etc), 95% come with sales letter. some with a very long, killing letter while some just 1/2 a page. whatever it is, it works like a charm.

 

It's slowly changing... people are now starting to use video sales letter, especially on the IM niche.

Sales letter definetaly still work - some are obviously better than other. The same rules still apply when writing them, and if in doubt, hire someone to do the copy for you.

 

All I can say is that top marketers pay 5 figures for sales letters when they are launching their new products. I don't think they would be spending that kind of money on something that didn't work.

 

Yes, i am using sales letter all the time, it is free. And it works well on new released products and customer maintenance.

 

of course yes, with more soft sales letter people with looking at yours.. because so many sales letter that "too pushy" people...

 

Sales letters are great! However calling them a 'sales letter' does suggest that they wont be effective.

A properly crafted sales letter will connect with the emotions of the reader and identify with them then throughout the copy hook people into the product.

Written properly, they are amazingly effective!

 

I think yes, it depends on the product.

 

Sales letter is still works until these days. However, the main key is your product. If your products are consumer product then it could help driven both traffics and sales. If your product is services or digital one or intangible, then it may not work wonder as you may expected.

 

Personally I have always been turned off by sales letters or those ebook sites that sell using that style, but they exist so some may find it effective.

Most sales letters i've seen are too long, boring and stupid i have no idea how people can sell anything with them.

 

Of course they still do! One trend I've noticed though is some marketers posting a video on the top of the web page that summarizes all the main points in the sales letter, and also having the full-length sales letter below it, so that it caters to both the people who like to read and also to those who like watching video.
