biglegg, I agree with you. IM is my full time job, it pays my bills and other expense. And yes, it involves a lot of hard work and LONG HOURS.

There is every possibility to earn a full time income online. Many people go about it the wrong way, some try to "beat the system" and wonder why their site gets deindexed. If you put enough effort into your online business there is no reason why you cant earn enough to live off.

 

I do not think so. Online business costs you much less compared to offline business aka "Brick and Mortar". However, common online business is not reliable for lifetime since they have to rely on traffics from a limited source, thus a hard to branding. It may have some exception if your site can become a big ones like

Youtube / Myspace / Hi5 / Bebo / Twitter / Aboutus.org / Google / Yahoo / MSN / Digg / Scribd / Facebook / Digitalpoint Forums / etc.

 

I would agree with Sxperm. If you would like to earn in internet, it is not like launching one site and that is all, no. You need to create new projects, support them, spend much time on working on them. And since everything changes so quickly here, you need always to learn something new otherwise you would lose. Sometimes it seems that some off-line business like selling candies for example may be less easier ...

 

If you couldnt do it, then it wouldnt be so popular..... the fact is many people already make a good living off the internet. There are plenty of ways to do so, and as long as you are prepared to work for it you stand every chance of being one of them

 

Many people make a good living from working online I'm not one of them yet but slowly getting there. time and dedication is what it takes.

 

The number of people who make a living online is dwarfed by the number who have tried and given up, which in turn, is dwarfed by the number who eventually WILL try and then give up after not getting quick results. I agree with the poster "Advertise" that hard work is the key. But not only hard word, also knowledge properly applied.

Of course it can. In my opinion starting a business online, as far as starting businesses goes, is far easier than elsewhere.

 

It can become a stable income for life, but only for people who diversify and adapt to the market- adapting and diversifying are among the two most important aspects of a successful internet marketer.

 

IMHO: Every Business have its own risk and There is no Business have zero risk
