SEO IS onpage optimization mostly. some would say link building is off-site optimization or off-site SEO where others would say link building is not SEO at all and its just promotion. regardless, if you are not doing onpage optimization, you are missing out a lot. it can be possible to rank a site with just off-site promotion/link building but if you take care of the onpage optimization properly, it will make you life lot easier. for competitive terms, onpage is a must
Of course it can be done. If by SEO you mean being found high in SERPs. But the examples I would give are for nonsense stuff. For real people, doing real searches, for real terms, it's not going to happen without some on-page stuff, mainly content. And if it didn't, what would be the point? Stephen C
Yes, check this one out. do a google search for "used cars orlando". Either on the bottom of page 1 or the top of page 2 you will see a website with only the name of the dealer (Sun State Ford) in the title tag, and the word Orlando isn't mentioned in the title or meta info that Google pulled. This site is entirely backlink dependent...more proof of how important backlinks are. That keyword phrases is battled by many, so it's not any easy one to rank. I know it's not page 1, but it should be on page 50...lol
I would have to agree with SultanofSEO on this one, at least about the on-page optimization being very important. I would argue that a part of every successful SEO campaign should be promotion and such through link building. I still don't get the reference to the vacuum though. The ultimate goal is or should be your client experience, good content, easy navigation, etc. So forget all the other non-sense, develop a good website, and SEO will fall into place.
I m agree with Soultnofseo bcoz if you have done smartly onpage than you not facing ny problem in offpage activity and get good position early
no you should take care of onpage seo work it is very important for example if you do not write robot.txt well in your website then your website can not be crawled by search engines
anytime u can get traffic by link building...but wat abt real business achievemet..do users register themselves..r do you get enough output despite having large traffic????
No. Without on page, we cannot achieve anything in off page optimization. Without off page, we cannot gain back links or Page rank. The search engines must be able to find and read the content on your website to understand that it is relevant to what the search engine user is searching for, therefore you need to 'optimize the website' or address the onsite SEO issues to ensure that it is achieved. Put simply there are 2 main strands to onsite SEO: Content or Keywords, Technical Site Issues.
