Where did I mention TOOLBAR PageRank? Google has a constantly updated index of PageRank. We CAN'T see that. And I'm not "brainstorming". It is a FACT written on Google's corporate website.

Matt Cutts is JUST ONE employee of Google. He doesn't own the company. He doesn't program the algorithm all by himself. The info on Google.com is official. MattCutts.com... sort of, but not so much. You can worship his blog all you want, but it won't change what's written on http://www.google.com/corporate/tech.html. And also, he never says PageRank is completely useless info. Matt even admits that it is part (a small factor, but still a factor) of the calculation of SERPs.

Really.. you need to stop assuming everyone here is stupid. You just ASSUMED I don't know the difference between Toolbar PR and the real-time PR that is stored in the Google servers. Some of us are smarter than you think... You can try to preach to the whole world that PR is meaningless, but if it was truly meaningless, then why does it exist? If it really has no value for anything, then Google would not even bother to calculate PR.

If Google removes the PR toolbar, I will admit that it was meaningless. I know when to admit I'm wrong. But it's still there right? And they still update it right? AND Matt Cutts stated that it is part of the calculation and score of their algorithm.

Let me ask you a question... your AMRAY directory is PR 4 right? So if your directory dropped to PR 0, do you think anyone will pay to have their site listed there? Nobody will pay for a PR 0 directory. Why do you complain about PR when it makes you money?

Also, why would I kill myself because PR from the toolbar is gone? No, I think I will live.

I'm done arguing with you, fastreplies. At first, I thought you really believed that PR was a "useless metric" as you say, but now I know that you are lying. You get jealous of others with PR 7 and PR 8 directories and you go and rat them out on Google Webmaster Central. So obviously you DO CARE about PR. If you really didn't think it was worth anything, why do you even care what PR anyone else has? You're probably jealous that they make more money than you, so you just go report other people's websites.

Do you know what FREE means?
FREE means no one need to pay any money.
FREE means even if AMRAY get PR of 0, it still will be getting submissions because it FREE
Even freshly baked, dead on arrival PR 0 FREE directories are getting submissions,
why AMRAY situation would be any different?
How PR 8 possibly can help AMRAY... it's already FREE to submit and it will be FREE forever?

As to Google Webmaster Central, I posted question hoping some G. Pros will say: Toolbar PR is worthless,

I feel that the PR8 won't last long - simply because PR8 is too hot and Google staff would likely notice this and flag it as selling PR.
