Is it possible to live without getting into a debt or loan? i have read somewhere that men starting from age off 30's are of immense pressure in getting into debt such as taking a loan to buy a apt or home etc.. do you think that debt free life is a happy life? how many live a debt free life here?
I don't think anyone here without any debt.. if it is. he must be the son of the richest man in his country. we loan money to be happy, then debt make us unhappy..
You can live without debt.. but society, at least in the US, you need to have experience with credit/debt in order to buy anything of real value. If you never use credit cards, take out loans, etc. you credit score will be terrible, and getting a loan for a house will be difficult. Not all debt is bad either. If you take out a loan to buy a car, or some other item that will quickly depreciate in value is an example of bad debt. Using debt to purchase an asset, something that will generate income for you or will appreciate in value is a good thing, and is the key to wealth.
I don't even have a credit card (only a VISA debit card). I have no credit history. I've never had a bank loan, probably couldn't get one, and hopefully will never need one.
i feel debt is a necessary evil. i stay away from debts because it really restricts your freedom and all these years i never went for a loan. Right now i am saving money to buy home with ready cash. i think this will happen only after 5 yrs.
If you live within your means and don't go buying anything you can't afford (aka, take out a loan) then it is very possible to live without debt. I only buy something if I have 100% of the money needed, if I don't have any money, I don't buy anything It's simple really
im only 18 and i already have student debts, which is why im interested in making fast money on the internet
I don't have any debt. But I am also still young, in college. Debt is not always a bad thing, if you took a loan for a good and safe investment that you know you will profit from, then you shouldn't have to worry about it.
