I have never been successful using Adsense with WordPress. I have tried an extensive list of different plug-ins. The ads never show up and if they do, it's stupid shite that I don't want on my blog like financial ads. My blog/site is my professional content writing site. So, I'm seeking your expertise. Is this a hint that the SEO on my blog is the worst on the planet, or is it a problem with my Adsense account. I've had success with Adsense on other non-WordPress sites. Should I tried a different ad network? I am open to your expertise and suggestions. Thanks in advance.
Thanks...I installed this plugin and when I went to Google to create my ad, I finally found out why I was having this problem. It was drama over my PIN number. This is the first time I noticed the message when I logged in just now. Hopefully the problem is now fixed. Thanks for your response. Maybe this thread will help someone else having problems.
Recently I also set up a new blog. I also struggled to find a good ad plugin. Previously I used to add HTML to the sidebar. The best option for me, so far is to use a adsense ready theme. My theme has a options page which allows me to add adsense code to add. Real nifty
I think that you should not use any plugin for adsense just embed the code into the php files. About irrelevant ads here's a cure: http://hubpages.com/hub/Increase-Adsense-Click-Through-Rates-and-Earnings
I'm still having problems with this, y'all. Give me a link to your site and tell me what plug-in you use. I was trying to use Adsense Optimizer, but it screws up code for my Contact Form 7 and Download Manager. Any ideas? I just want a plug-in that can put Adsense between my posts or a row of links at the top of the page. Thanks.
You should use quick adsense that is the best plugin in this regard. It has lot of customization so that you can rule over your ads.
You may easily insert adsense code in the widget, that's hassle-free and very quick way to insert google ads. Insert into php file is not difficult too.
Hey, thanks everyone for the suggestions and links. I'm going to try a couple of these. I will eventually find one that works. I believe Adsense Manager was one that I had tried which hadn't been updated in a while. The ability to show the ads in those locations is convenient, but it screws up other plug-ins. It removes my Contact Form 7 and Download Manager download links. I will see what I can do though. Thanks again, y'all. I'll report back when I get this working and let you know which plug-in I used. Perhaps it will help someone else. *EDIT* So I installed WhyDoWork Adsense and it's working! This is the closest I've been to what I want. I will have to take some time to tweak it, but I think it'll work. I like how I can create the ads that I want to use and then place them. If all goes well, I'll be writing a review on the plug-in on my site. Thanks googlecrawl!
