after removing free receiving for Indian users , this seems the latest,.... are there more in the paypal box of problems?

It was bound to happen given the fact that many Indian PP users overused the Personal payment facility.

Yes, this should be the only alternative I can see. but why paypal are getting that much strict about Indian users??? I mean they have already stopped personal payments in India...now they are going to ban personal accounts.

is this news credible enough, because there is no mention of any such thing on the paypal blog. Moreover, paypal cannot force any user to upgrade to business or premier account. Also, why are they having the option to register for a personal account on their website. Has anyone contacted paypal about this. Looks like the great RBI has really sucked the blood of indians to feed their babus and politicians and now paypal is retaliating with more woes so that all losses incurred because of the problem in Feb are going to be redeemed by this.

Never trust those customer support emails, they have no idea of anything that is going on with PayPal !

absolutely right. Just one more question. For personal verified accounts the withdrawl limit is $2500. Does premier accounts / business accounts have any withdrawl limits.

I mean personal verified accounts can only transfer $2500 per month. Does upgraded accounts have any monthly withdrawl limit.
Also what are the charges for upgrading the account to premier and business
And what are the sending / receiving charges for the same.

Can someone please throw some light on these queries.

    Thanks

again,.... this is not on their blog, and no ... there is no direct intimation about it,.... just a reply for one of my queries...

the problem i see is not the button to upgrade,... its can we withdraw from a paypal business account to a Savings Bank account in India??? i have doubts...

i bet, we will have to open a current account in the business name we give to paypal,... and maintain a good balance in that or something./... not sure, if someone can throw some light on this.

Yes we can add bank account in personal name (see image below)

No you do not need a current account in the business name. In fact you can change the business name without giving any documents to support it (but if you are withdrawing in the business name it has to match the bank account name).

The only name they are very specific is the Business Contact Name. This cannot be changed to any other person's name ...and cannot be altered/edited (except for minor corrections like spelling /space) without valid documents.
