Competitors analysis in SEO?

Hi,

Since competitors analysis is an important parts of SEO. Can any one suggest me please that what exactly should be review in competitor's website analysis?

 

backlinks, content, codes, structure, design...etc.. etc..

 

If competing pages is low, < 50,000, then on page seo is significant. Look at titles, internal linking including anchor text, headers, keyword density including LSI words, and of course the all important content

If competing pages is high, > 50,000, then look at the quality of backlinks and the authority of the site. If you want to compete here you need similar authority and more or better quality backlinks.

 

Check each backlinks of competitors on how do they get the backlinks.

 

Domain age, locate..

Just search your keywords and analysis the top 20 sites

 

Use IBP tool for competition analysis. It works fine and gives more accurate results.

 

it depands on your niche and your targeted region, if u r working for a client then most propably he will let u knwo about ur competitors or u need to find out ur competitors, but alway try to do more seo work then ur competitors

 

compare keyword, back links, designing, site structure etc.

 

You can also use related:www.othersite.com. To know who are their backlinks....That can also help...

 

BackLinks, keywords, Content, capabilities, strengths and limitations of competitors website should be reviewed in competitor's website analysis.
