    Is there any tools helping me to generate sitemap for Google? Is there any differences in between normal sitemap and google sitemap? Please comments. Thanks

    XML sitemap generators only take the first 1000 links. For my website with more then 5000 pages this is no solution :(.

    Which site you are running for? CMS site or built by your own?

    If you use CMS software like wordpress, just install their plugin and it will auto generate all pages.

    If you are creating a website using Wordpress blogging application, you can install a very useful plugin known as Google Sitemap Generator. This plugin automatically updates and creates a sitemap whenever you update your blog with a new page or blog post.

    Xml-sitemaps.com Unlimited version is by far the best solution. Our website has over 350,000 pages and we use the paid version ($19) to create sitemaps. Plus, we've set-up a cronjob so the sitemap generator runs automatically once per week.

    Free web-site-map.com discussed in a parallel thread can map as many as 5000+ pages (when their servers are not overheated with load:)) and those guys keep increasing their limits, so maybe soon 8000 urls won't be a problem;)

    If you are using a CMS, wordpress, just use the plugin "Google XML Sitemaps"
    or use the manual way by visiting google webmaster and create a sitemap manually there
    hopefully help
