other wise sooner or latter google might punish you as hard as banning

can you please explain 'Cloaking'

 

Cloaking is when a website or webpage is set up to show different content for a search engine spider than the human visitors. The cloaked page (for the spiders) is stuffed with keywords in an attempt to get higher rankings.

 

What is mean for automated submission services, i think that you talking about our website content get and update from any other site through feeds.
am i right?

Well I am a newbie and I was thinking of the first point ( Duplicate Content/Sites)....Thanks to you....You saved me !!!! But I used Automated Submission Services.......now what to do?

 

Most probably you won't be banned but just penalized for such things.
Nobody is going to be banned for Automated Submission Services (directories?) or duplicate content... that's for sure

Do you have any suggestions if you think a site might be experiencing a penalty, but is not sure where it is coming from, even after using webmaster ools, and submitting a reconsideration request.

 

@mccube - copy n paste content can have a detrimental effect on your page rank. Google likes original content & will only index one "chunk" of information

Hi, thanks for the list. I just want know something about duplicate content than you may know: I have a local directory about something and I have a lot of address and postal code, call number. Those information are already on YellowPages, and other local directory, does its supposed to be duplicated content?

Duplicate Content/Sites - Won't ger you banned. It just wont rank well that's all..

 

There are lots of ways to get high rankings in the search engines. but the above given things are better to avoid if you want to be in good standing with the search engines.

 

Duplicate Content/Sites – Do not set up multiple sites or site pages using basically the same content with a few different keywords spread around. This does not fool the search engines.
