    Hi,

Could anyone explain how I can create a header image with the same effect as http://windowsteamblog.com/? I like the gradient and lighting but not sure how to achieve the same thing.

Any steps to help get this effect would be appreciated.

    Thanks

EDIT: Sorry for the typo in the title! I was meant to type 'create'!

#1.create a rectangle with the color you want as bg.
#2.go to the layer options and put a gradient overlay on it, of the color white to transparent
#3.make the gradient overlay style, overlay.

not sure if i explained it well.

Hi, thank you for your reply. I think I'm almost there, but I can't seem to change the size of the overlay. Here's what I did:

    1. I created the background color
    2. Added a gradient overlay of white to transparent
    3. There isn't an overlay style, but I do have overlay as an option under 'blend mode', so I selected that, and used a radial style.
    4. The problem I have is that the lighter color blue is a small circle in the middle of the image at the moment, and I can't seem to find out how to make it bigger.

Thanks for any more help anyone can give.
