    Google updated PR today (3rd April, 2010). I am really surprised as got PR3 back for so many of my web directories :D

    How about yours ??

    When did you lose these PRs.?
    With this revival.... does it signal the coming back of importance of directories... in the google scheme of things? :confused:

    Google never penalized "web directories", It penalized some web directories that they deemed to have participated in the "blackhat" methods, if your web directories where penalized, then it was your directory that were penalize, none of mine where, so, if we could refrain from saying it as a whole, because not all where penalized and it was directed to the whole websites industries and never towards to a certain particular group or niche's.

    Received PR2 for two of my sites - one launched not even a month ago, other launched about 3 months ago.

    On top of that, i jumped 5 pages for one of my keywords. That was pretty nice :)

    My 2 directories kept there pr 5 from few updates now. But inner pages(categories and sub categories) are getting changed a bit from time to time....

    A few months back one of my penalised directories (after 2 years) got its serps then pr (before penalised) returned, this new update took it up one notch, so im glad i held onto my directory and like i said last time, i learned a few lessons, made my mistakes and will try not to do that again.

    yes..i'm happy too with this new pr update..a lot of my dirs which is lost in pr somewhere in 2 years back now is back at least PR3.
