Please give me a good guess. I'll say between 10 and 20 for non-competitive keyphrases. Of course you might get there with less; But just to be on the safe side.
Size of the matter does not matter in SEO. One can do SEO for one-page site and also for thousand pages site..
Its all depend on the optimization of the website. The matter of the number of pages is not a big issue, all its required proper seo techniques to be in the SERPs for most of the keywords.
Number of pages is not a factor directly. But it affects because when you will have more pages, you will have more content and more internal links, more keywords to target. However there is no answer to your question. Just try to make your website optimum, cover each section and each product in one and and after that you can not increase your number of pages, then use a blog in your website and keep on adding something for long time.
well the pages in the sites does not matter at all...but the ages which are included should be with excellent content with relevant keywords, title, metatags
In my own experiences, page quantity might not be a big issue for ranking purpose. We should always keep our eyes on keywords, title tags, description tags, page contents and backlinks. Thanks,
I think a site with more pages gets increased PR and authority. It might make a difference if competing for competitive terms.
Hello, I think there is no specific explanation but everything depends on the quality of content and the proper placement of targeted keywords in them.
in my opinion and experience thousand of pages will bring you more traffic as we get more door open to visitors. More tiitle, keywords, description, all this factor contribute to SEO. i have seen a junk site with hundred thousands of pages, got <20,000 alexa ranking.
I agree. The number of pages doesn't do anything directly SEO-wise, but it helps you rank for more keywords and makes your site look more legitimate. Content is king.
the problem is if google perceives your pages as spam. This happened to a site of mine with less than 10 pages, most of them didn't get any PR, even though the home page had PR4
There are many 1 page squeeze-page selling products and have higher ranks than many other sites. What do you say about that?
Number of pages does not matter. It matter only if you target many keywords on different pages. For instances. sometimes we see a site with only a couple of pages ranks etremely well.
It's doesnot matter if you want to do 10-20 pages yes deep link building is alwasy good beside of yoru home page you will get rank on your innerpage too but if you do proper way and get good back link your some of inner page will also get rank
Well, to have good SEO, you gota have keywords/topics to work with. To be found at the engines, ie, rank highly, its best to have a lot of inbound links to your website. But before you can do this, you need to justify that your website is actually worthy of being linked to whether its from other webmasters or directories, you need to have a decent website that will add value to their visitors experience. So, I suggest that you go for at least 20 pages, otherwise your site may appear to be incomplete, but once you break that 20 page mark, start submitting to directories and that will increase you chances of being accepted.
Size of website is not a considerable part of SEO and to search engines. YES, when there are more pages, you can add more content, more titles, more internal linkings and ALT image tags, but what really matters is HOW you handle all your onpage SEO techniques. I mean a 10-20 page properly optimized website is ALWAYS better than a 100-200 pages website without proper onpage optimization.
