Discussion in 'Google' started by skseo, Mar 30, 2010.

    Hi all,

Keyword are important part of the webpage and require the visitor attraction but repeating the same keyword many times in the web page is keyword stuffing. Can it be the reason to penalize the site by Google?

    thanks

Keyword sutffing does always lead website to be penalized. However, the repetitive of keywords does not mean keyword stuffing all the times. It is depend on the way you make that repetitive. If you have observed many websites you may find some content using the same keyword frequently but still has a good rank in Google.

Keyword stuffing can lead to get penalised by google. Also if you are giving all those keywords a hyperlink where it is directing to some other site, your account might get permanently banned. One of my colleague in my office did the same mistake and her blog is still banned from last one year. So basically all the hard work what you do go as a waste. So you have to be very careful while using specific keywords in the articles.

Search engines values content that is written for people and not the search engines. Keyword stuffing may have good results for only a short while, but soon you will be penalized and banned!

Even there are some percentage the are recommended for keywords to be mentioned within a page, I believe Google give points how well-written an article is no matter how many times the keyword is mentioned, as long as it is naturally written.

I haven't seen any site who banned through keyword stuffing but yes! you can be penalized through repetition of keywords. So, be natural while writing.

If most of those keywords are directed to a different site, then again it is counted as spam.

I don't think keyword stuffing will get you banned... It will get you a penalty like a 3 month drop in rank and you'll stay there unless you fix the problem... Alot of people will keyword stuff without even realising it so it be unfair to completely ban them... But like lucilla said be careful when linking to other sites if you do.

The key-words direct to the same link, is good for google, which could tell google that I(the link out website) marked the site(link to) as major in this content(keyword).
