SEO and keywords

Hi there

I want my site to be listed higher in google. If someone search for hosting or web design in google from my country, how can I make that rank number one?

Here is some of the techniques I have been using:
1. Backlinks
2. Social media
3. Directory Submission

But I feel it is not enough, so I was wondering if there was something missing or a different technique to rank higher in specific country?

there are several ways in getting backlinks, try as many as you can.
Articles help a lot.
Forum signatures are also very good.

 

But how do I rank higher in my country e.g. Australia, when they type in a keyword; hosting, design, etc?

 

Before moving to offpage please look after onpage first like title tag, ht tag, content, site navigation etc...

 

"Hosting" and "Web Design" is very competitive keywords. Best way to get rankings for this keywords is "Backlinks" but its not enough because keywords are very competitive so you need Quality, Unique and Keyword Rich Content and you have to update them regularly.

Another effective ways are Article Posting, Forum Posting and Press Release Submission etc.

I agree. You can't do some part of SEO and expect to be number one. You need to do all of them.

 

You've to do get most and most backlinks to your site.
more backlinks will improve your site reliablity measn PR..
Then PR for your site will be increased by google and your site will seen at higher position in search engines..
for get more backlinks you have to do article submission, blog creation, directory submission, social bookmarking submission etc. for your site.

I'm not sure if you did this already, but I would first look at how competitive the keyword is. If you are willing to spend the effort to try and rank for a highly competitive term, good luck.

I suggest you attempt to rank for three keywords: one easy keyword, one medium competition keyword, and one challenging keyword.
This way you will see results from your low and medium terms soon and it will keep you from getting discouraged.

 

Come to think of it, exactly how do I use those keywords? Do I put them on my website or do I pay for them?

 

Fix your onsite seo first. Everybody is building backlinks but they forget their onsite seo

 

Article Marketing is the best to do that.
