Ok, so here is a journal worth reading

Ok, so I've heard many complaints on this forum about people creating "self promotion" journals. I decided to make a journal worth reading, one because I need more motivation, and two to help newer noobs and to get help from the bigger guys.

Please not that I am not trying to sell you anything.

This journal will not work toward any specific goal other than creating a consistent semi-passive income through clickbank.

So here are the goals for the week:

    Monday:
Create an onlywire.com account so that I can social bookmark my articles and then register for all of the sites on onlywire.

Tuesday and Wednesday: Backlink 5 articles that I have already submitted to ezinearticles.com by submitting each of them to onlywire then to the following sites:

    Article Directories:

    www.articlesbase.com
    www.ideamarketers.com
    www.goarticles.com
    www.easyarticles.com
    www.articlealley.com
    www.articledashboard.com

    Web 2.0 sites:

    www.squidoo.com
    www.blogger.com
    www.wordpress.com
    www.weebly.com
    www.hubpages.com

I will link all of the articles on article directories to my main EZA article then I will link all of the Web 2.0 sites to each other, as well as to the main article and each of the articles on article directories.

After that I will use scrapebox to make around 100 automatic blog comments pointing to my main article.

    Thursday:

Write 5 articles and submit to EZA pointing to a landing page

    Friday:
Write 5 more articles and submit to EZA with direct link

Let me know if you have any suggestions, and thanks for reading. I will soon update you on my progress.

Right. Because your 18 posts show you have so much experience with article marketing. Don't make stupid comments suggesting you might know something about it when you don't.

Article marketing works great if done right.

Good to see a journal that's detailing steps rather than just saying "I'm submitting 20 articles a day...will update"

I actually quite like journals :) I used to pretty much journal everything I did, but privately, I found it helped my understanding and gave me a plan of action of what to do next... its funny how writing things down can do this... make you think and see things you have done differently and helps you see what really is working or what proabably isn't worth your time. Seems like a decent enough plan, but only time will tell and your own experience will mold your plan to what really works for you - mass experience is the only way to learn imo. Good luck, and just brace yourself for the flame, and try not to get drawn into it :)

So do you submit the exact same articles that you have already submitted to EZA? Or do you spin them a bit?

Yeah I also want to know this, in fact I have a questions for all of you guys: Will I get quality backlinks if I submit the same article in different article directories ? This is the thing I'm confused about so please clear this up for me if you can. Thanks in advance

I am currently submitting the exact articles, but in the future I might do spun articles. Spun articles offer a bit higher quality link juice, but it is also quite time consuming to prepare a spun article. I am trying to find a good balance between time quality and quantity and right now I'm sacrificing a little bit of quality for a little bit of quantity.

I'll experiment and see what works

Oh, and I almost forgot to say that on Wednesday I will be choosing 10 keywords to write Thursday and Friday's articles around

I will be formatting the title like this

    keyword = LOL

article title = LOL - Learn How You Can Use This Acronym Online And On Your Phone To Make Your Friends Laugh Their Heads Off

I will write my articles in this format

Paragraph 1: Describe the buyer's problem

Paragraph 2: Present the possible solutions to the problem

Paragraph 3: Present buying whatever I am selling (not mentioning any specific product) as the best solution

Res Box: Present a link either to a landing page or directly to the product

I will keep keyword density between 1 and 2 percent.

I just made a sale for $20.06 from the articles I had already posted on EZA. I am almost done with the onlywire stuff BTW.

Also, my EZA articles are getting a CTR of about 30 to 50 percent.

I love to see a detailed journal like this. You are so organized - this is one way to succeed. Have a plan and stick to it. This way you will achieve the goals you have set for yourself. I am a firm believer in the use of articles and blogs. Don't believe anyone who underestimates them. There is one rule you should follow - they all should be unique content.

I finished today's goal of creating the social network accounts. It was a lot of work.

Tip of the day: When doing mass account creation, use a common email address, user name, and password. It makes it a lot easier to keep track of everything.

Also, download Google Toolbar and use the autofill feature. Though you will still have to do a bit of typing, it cuts a huge amount of time off.

    Thanks, I'm happy too :D

Thank you for your interest and your encouragement, I hope you enjoy my journal.

Working on line in your own home sometimes - it can be full of distractions. I hate even taking phone calls unless they are short one. Hate getting people who want to just chat. I think I have trained all my friends and relatives that even though they can not see the results, I am laying a solid foundation.

Are you promoting more than one product at the moment or just concentrating on one product?

In my opinion instead of writing Monday, Tuesday, ..., Friday, you should write Day 1, Day 2, ..., or write an exact date next to Monday, Tuesday so in the future we can know which Monday you did that and how many days you spend on doing it. Just an opinion.
