    I think it was overhyped form the get go. More often than not I see horrible results when doing searches there.

    Cuil made a big spash at first, but the results were not great and they could not get the right thumbnail images with the right websites. Since then, they seem to be doing a little better with the images, but the results are worse. So IMHO, they're dead. You get one chance in this business. If you blow it at first, you'll never come back.

    I like the little images they include in the results, but it is just too confusing and difficult to sort and make any sense out of. The results are not that good or relevant.

    I don't think so people using cuil. They are using the same database of Google and return worse search result.

    For your info, me and my family uses cuil, all of us love cuil. Its the biggest search engine around.
    In fact some of its other searches like images are very accurate indeed.
    Here in my country Cuil.com is considered to be our official search engine. I heard that Google.cn is sweating rite now because China is thinking of taking Cui.com as its official search engine together with Baidu. Cuil's speed and result has become drastically accurate over time.
    Do try Cuil.com again...

    It's a hopeless search engine. only ever sent me 2 visitors since it started so i banned their bot as it was a total waste of bandwidth.
