This is coo. But not all sites have high PR. And some sites don't even have PR. But I'll still give this a try. Thanks for sharing. rep++

Hope I am not going to appear too stupid but, I looked at some of these sites and the links dont point to external sites, they point to user on the microblog. How do you get links to your site?

Hey Everyone, I think it's cool everyone liked my thread. But there turns out to be a big issue:

Turns out twitterfeed doesn't like to post to a lot of these sites. I have, however, built a program that will automatically. It's not entirely finished yet, but it is functional. If anyone would like to try it out, they can visit anarchymagazine.com.

There's no real instructions on the site, and it's very basic (no design). Here's how to use it:

    • Sign up for a bunch of these identi.ca clone websites, with the same name and password
    • Save the list of servers into a text file, formatted like this (notice no http, no commas, one server per line of text, etc):
    • Upload the text file to any web server
    • Go to http://anarchymagazine.com (my script testing domain)
    • Sign up for an account. Use the same username and password you signed up to the identi.ca clone sites with.
    • Note down the API code you are given.
    • You will be taken to a control panel. Under the form where it says CSV File, give the full url of the text file you made with the list of servers, like this
    • You now have two options. You can either fill out the form that says "make a post right now", give it your RSS feed, and it will randomly post one of your site's pages (in the RSS feed) to a random server listed n your "CSV file". OR, you can create a cron job to do this automatically at certain time intervals using the instructions given at the top of the control panel.
    • If you need to login again, use your API key & the login form on the home page
NOTE: You must use an RSS 2.0 feed for this to work properly.
NOTE: Posting is limited to once every 5 minutes per account
NOTE: Currently the server is garbage (000webhost), so it may go down for a few minutes at a time here or there.

Once I finish the tool completely, it will be up for sale (with the www.statusmass.com domain). Would make quite a nice subscription service someone could run.

Good idea but most of these services only allow people to join by invite only because of abuse

Counted them. 42 of them (out of around 100) allow for sign-ups without invites. And there are more to be found that aren't listed in that directory on google

    Hello,
Thanks for the great advice, I was running into issues registering for a few sites, that mentioned you need to be invited. Is that new? if so any care to help me out and invite me?

I am a bit new but is this right?
Where do you post? On your blog thats feeds to identi.ca that feeds them to tweetfeed to post on the sites that allow comments through RSS?

    Thanks for sharing. +rep

As someone said that 42 sites allow you to make accounts with invites, so does twitterfeed succeed in posting to all those accounts?

Finally the major question is that do you know someone willing to take my blog feed URL, sign up for all those accounts and set up this whole thing on twitterfeed.com

Let me know whether you know someone who has done it before OR knows how to do it exactly with a completely detailed report. I'd like to use this method to get all of my new blog posts indexed.

Getting the same issue with invites. Are there any members here that can issue invites out so that can get the backlink ball rolling?

I have identi.ca and all my links are in there, but it has not much benefit in terms of link juice especially that google pr is very much hackable, it is very much useless
