Hi, I have never really had much experience except that which I need to know. I recently have come across the term "sandbox".

I was wondering if my website is sandboxed or not, as I am not 100% sure of the meaning.

    www.aztec-online.com

My site doesn't rank well for any of my main keywords. 'web design dorset' 'web design poole' etc.

Yes, most likely it's Sandbox. I also have a website, and after adding some content with highly competitive keywords, got sandboxed, back in January. The funny thing is, that my site it's a 4 year website, and had very good traffic and everything screwed up because of like 100 pages about debt consolidation.

Your site has 1 years 25 days old so I do not think your site is sandboxed. The main reason for your poor ranking is - Your site have 0 link popularity in Google. Your current title tag is really bad from SEO perspective. Please consider to change it.

I'd agree with sxperm you are not sandboxed all your pages are indexed in google.

You probably need some links from other good sites - do you have any local business directories you could get a link from or associations etc . Or look at sites like Gumtree to build up a few links. More importantly add more content, on your home page you have the option to add Latest News - use this section, inc some of your keywords especially Poole Dorset etc etc. Google seems to be putting alot of weight behind current news so theres potential for this to help. Add news pages linking from this front page news.
    Use Google maps.
Possibly add page /PooleDorsetWimbourne and a title including these town names and your services and similar keywords on the page to better use your subpages.

    Basically build up good content.

Of course you might know all this and be just advertising your site :)

Please check your site against this checklist before believing blindly that your 'site' is in the sandbox.... Am I in the Google Sandbox?

There are many factors affecting the serp. You need to specify your condition. It is not for sure that you are in the sandbox. Maybe you are just not doing enough seo work.

There are some tips to tell if you may be in the sandbox:

    1. Your site is on a new domain and less than about 1 year old
    2. The keywords you are ranking for are competitive.
    3. Most of the pages of the site has been indexed by Google.
    4. The site ranks well in Yahoo and MSN
    5. The spider visits and crawls the site on a regular basis.
