I have few website that are in very competitive market. I know it will take time to achieve TOP 10 ranking but i really want to get traffic by other ways . can you suggest what would be others ways to increase traffic to a website. I want minimum 300 hits /day
Its fine when you can't rank for top keywords. But man you can always rank for long tail keywords. More and more keywords you will be ranking more and more traffic you will get. It is proved that long tail keywords help you build a lot of quality traffic. So do not stop your link building and SEO, its not worthless.
I think you need good SEO or you start a PPC or community site is the best for our site to increase traffic.
Bad choice dude, long tail is great traffic. 80% from them are always click anything on your site. It's more targeted visitor.
It is depend on your own need. 1. If you need both high amount of traffics with targeted visitors - SEO and PPC is the way to go. Each has its own advantage and disadvantage. There are a lot of threads here about these two. 2. If you need high amount of traffics but may not exact targeted - Buy traffics may be a good option. It is up to your niche for conversion rate. Otherwise you may hire social bookmark services to help your story for being pushed up at front page. This could help driven a lot of traffics but may not targeted enough. 3. If you need quality targeted traffics but not high amount - Participate in the forums related to your topic. If your site is about "selling dog food" then go and being participated in forums about dog could be a good help.
If you really need it right away you can look into PPC. As far as other means besides search engines, it all depends on what is appropriate for your business.
If you run an e-commerce site and have a decent average $ amount per paying customer, you should use AdWords or something similar. It would be worth it. If you just want some traffic to get your site up and running, then you should probably use other means.
