One Piece of Advice for Someone Just Getting Started

First time thread-poster, long-time lurker,

I know there are some real experts on this board. I'm just getting started in Internet Marketing and I spend several hours a day reading through the threads here.

I'm wondering though, what's the one piece of information/ most important piece of information you'd want to impart to someone just getting started?

Measure everything you can. Use google analytics to analyze your site's traffic.

 

Yea im jsut starting out a new forum with my partner, Tbh i didnt think there was this much work involved lol

Make connections with the right people in the niche you choose to create income in and always be building your list.

 

Stop spending hours a day reading threads and get out there and do it.

You make no money reading threads.

 

Find something you known and start to build contents and web pages to drive target traffic. Go find CPA offers that suitable to your niche.

 

Don't give up. Give it 6 months to a year of hard work before you even THINK of giving up.

 

Find something that work then stick with it. Stick with it means don't ever ever give up until you reach what you are aiming for.

 

Don't ever think that make money online is an easy way, you'll be frustrated!
Online business is simply a business, so threat it as it is. Be discipline, keep working hard and smart, keep learning, keep smiling

A lot of what I've been starting to see has been confirmed by you all. It's great to hear from people who know what they are doing!

 

Hey i guess what all newcomers suffers from out there is INFORMATION OVERLOAD. My advice , don't buy products unless there are lots of good review of it. Many products are sad to say - crap. So do some research on the product before buying anything.

There is also a saying the greatest mistake of all is to do nothing , so i suppose instead of stuffing yourself with information take things one step at a time , get a website online first then drive traffic to it and hopefully you progress from there !

 

Taking action is the largest hurdle. Yes its good to study threads but make sure your BS detection meter is working well.

 

Get a domain name build niche content site and you could sell it for several thousands dollars with little more effort

 

I would say learn how to do keyword research and how to outsource.

 

Stick to one method and do it.. come up with a plan
