keyword optimization or link buidling ?

i wonder whether to cncentrate on keyword optimizaton for the page or to increase te backlinks to the page. which is more effective for the search engines.

 

Both are important. There is no way to get search engine traffic if you ignore either onpage or offpage seo.

Both keyword optimizaton and backlinks are important ..So you need to do the work for both onpage and offpage ....please note that if the content is the king then links are the queen ...
