Need advice: 4 year old site getting 2,000+ unique visitors daily, but only making $1

I'm going to see if I can modify the design a bit to allow for some ads closer to the top, and yep. I have sold a few links on the site, but nothing to really "cover" the monthly hosting bills yet..

Not exactly. Been there, done that.

On a $30 / month reseller host, the forum was constantly experiencing downtimes and lag. We also have a shoutbox on the forum, available to members with a certain number of posts, and this contributed to that. I wanted to keep the shoutbox on there to keep the members happy.

On my VPS, I have never had to worry about the site going down, or people complaining about the speed. I also don't have to worry about my other sites hosted on the VPS (over 30 sites) going down, or experiencing lag. Actually, I have never experienced ANY real downtime since I moved to a VPS - only 1-3 minutes downtime occasionally for maintenance or upgrades.

And for all that, I would pay $76.50 per month.

Once again. If you choose to build your site around a low paying keyword, you're never going to make much money period. Unless you find some CPA offer that attracts to your audience, you're going against the stream.

 

Maybe have pages which describe how to use the dance for different types of music, or how to dance with someone who is doing a different kind of dance? One page for each type of music or type of dance combination would provide keywords to attract fans of specific music or dance.

 

Are there any gun affiliate programs? Those would probably sell.

 

If you open a store for stuff with your site logo, and with dance-related messages, remember to wear your site's clothing when filming yourself.
